Retirement on the horizon we think...wow, if only it would hurry up and arrive...then it hits you...this retirement thing is not all it is cut out to be..my mind is getting too much rest...I am becoming groggy/frogy....what can I do to ease the wait until my mate can retire with me...get a job you say...who wants ya at this age...(besides your mate, that is)...I tap into my groggy/frogy brain and lo & behold, I end up on Ebay trying to scratch out a few bucks to add to the household income...and I do it with such sincerity..trying not to wear my old heart on my sleeve, lest it be a target for some meanie....I am meeting tons of wonderful folks on E bay..it is good for all of us to smile as we do our feedbacks...it shows through...I am currently holding my own Estate Sale so my kids don't have to put tags on my granny panties when I'm gone to clean out the old homestead..My youngest granddaughter says..Your the crazy Granny...I say, we'll pretend we're asleep when your mom comes in.

Worked retail for almost 30 years...Behind the scenes in the offices...Human Resources...Accounting...Distribution...I've got a good idea on how folks want to be treated...I carry through...try not to drop the ball...and I have gained so much knowledge..Worked for 10 years as a Nail Salon owner/operator...had 10 of the best years of my life doing that...once again...knowing what folks wanted and making sure they received it....I was rewarded ten-fold during this time...and this business I started from scratch with one partner 20 years my junior...she was and still is a true friend...my nickname in my younger years was....Handle it!.....

What's a Dado? It is another name for Grandma... The oldest granddaughter called me Dado and it stuck... When I was trying to name my store I thought I'd carry on the legacy of Dado....still going strong after 17 years......
