All About Me

What everyone should know about me

I am the lucky mom of two gorgeous kids and a wife to a wonderful husband who supports all my efforts, and gave me a craft room to make all my messes in. Besides my kids, I have several hobbies.

Things I sell

I sell sets of cards that I stamp and make myself. I might ever sell some other handmade items. We'll have to wait and see.

Things I buy

I like to buy things that I can use to make something out of; like paper, stamps, fabric, embellishments, and such. I also like to buy old, or unique cookbooks.

Things I collect

I collect cookbooks. I started this as a child because my Grandfather was a chef and I love cooking new things.

I enjoy stamping, sewing, cooking and reading.

Favorite Movies

My favorite movie is 'Pride and Prejudice, ' the BBC version. It is 5 hours long, and I have seen it a hundred times, at least.

Favorite Music/Bands

I listen to Christian radio stations like KDUV. I like to listen to it over the internet while I'm stamping.

Favorite TV Shows

I don't watch T.V. except for an occasional Food Network show.

How I got my name

I have this problem. I love 'stuff'. When my kids were younger, we watched a lot of 'Veggie Tales' movies. My favorite one was called, 'Madame Blueberry'. She loved stuff too, and bought it all at 'Stuff Mart'. (Sound familiar?) So, one day, her tree house was so full that the tree leaned waaaay over, dumped out all the stuff and when the tree sprang back into the upright position, the tree house was propelled out of the tree. Madame Blueberry was left with nothing! She reminds me of myself, and I keep expecting God to empty out my house one day while I'm out shopping for more 'stuff'. I need to constantly remind myself that God tells us not to store up our treasures on earth. If you're anything like me, you need to rent the movie and see how hilarious it is.
