Awesome, affordable quality 6 string!
1 of 1 found this helpful This is an excellent 6 string bass for the money. Even a new one is well worth it. The bass has a smaller body, which I like, and weighs less than the bolt-on Ibanez 6 string I'm replacing. The Schecter feels solid as a rock, and is very easy to play with the jumbo frets. The pickups put out a hot, clear, punchy signal and the tone shaping tools make it easy to quickly dial in anything from deep thick growl to hi-fi punch for slap. The body contours are comfortable, the neck is wide and fairly flat, and very fast.
The only complaint seems to be the same as I've seen elsewhere...the quality of the finish on the hardware is lacking. Everything else about this bass is top notch, if you need a versatile, go to workhorse of a 6 string bass, this is it!
