I saw the Aklot uke listed online somewhere as being 3rd from the top 10 best made ukes and that was good enough for me so I bought the Tenor. It arrived a day earlier than was estimated. Tested the uke, very nice looking and as described, The wood looks rich, it appears very well made with nice finishes everywhere, it holds its tuned strings well, the sound is robust. Great for Self or gift giving. The only minor negatives: no instruction or mention of how the batteries are to be installed (as in which side up) and once the bats are installed the tray holding them is difficult to come out The other minor neg is the defacing of a nice looking (gift) box with shipping labels/stickers if the shipment is not double boxed. I give the whole thing a 10-minus (or 9.9999999):
