Shipping information
I generally ship within 48 hours of cleared payment. I charge actual shipping fees only, so a calculator is provided with each listing for buyers to choose between USPS Priority or First Class mail. I pack very well, so there has never been a problem with items damaged in transit.
Return policy
I do not accept returns. However, I stand behind each item as listed, so I will consider refunding the purchase price or replacing an item if it is grossly misrepresented in its description.
Collecting History
I started collecting coins and currency when I had a paper route more than 30 years ago. As a result, I have tens of thousands of coins and currency that includes more than 12,000 pennies. I am a member of the American Numismatist Association, Jeffrey Martin, member number 3144035. I also have original games from when I was a child and buy/sell other vintage games that I have collected over the years. I began collecting antique clocks when I received an Ingraham mantle clock from 1898 that had been in my family for generations. I have a generous matchbook/box collection that I started more than 30 years ago. The oldest books/boxes are from the early 1960's when my uncle and aunt took a trip around the world. Always fascinated by rotary telephones, I started buying, selling, and collecting vintage telephones several years ago. I am a member of the Antique Telephone Collector's Association. An avid sports fan, I have a collection of major league sports memorabilia.
Miscellaneous Antiques
I have an extensive collection of miscellaneous antique and vintage items, including a 78 record player from 1904, sewing machine, church collection plate, Westerwald beer stein, Benedict & Burnham cigar lighter, tools, household items, china and silver setting, and typewriters. I also have furniture that belonged to my great-great-grandparents. These include chairs and small cabinets. In addition, I have the desk that my great aunt used in a one room school from the early part of the 20th century, ca. 1910. I spend a great deal of time reading and researching antique and vintage items.
