Effective October 2008, Ebay no longer allows sellers to accept payment by check or money order. I currently accept PayPal or payment upon pick up.

I ship within 2 business days of receipt of payment. For all US purchases I prefer USPS Priority Mail which consistently delivers in 2-3 days plus provides for carrier pick up unlike Parcel Post. However, I do try to offer Parcel Post or First Class when I can as lower cost alternatives for my buyers. Effective 9/22/09 eBay no longer allows sellers to offer shipping insurance as an option. Therefore insurance is now included and shown on the invoice as a handling charge. Rarely do I charge any handling charge Parcel Post & UPS so I may add $1 handling charges to cover shipping over runs, packing materials, and cost to deliver Non Priority Mail items to the Post Office or UPS. I do pack extremely well and have had only 2 mishaps in 500+ shipments so feel confident that I will take extreme care in getting your items to you safely.

Almost all of the items I sell are antique and as such are sold AS IS and normally not eligible for return. That is of course unless I have inadvertently mispresented an item in which case a full refund minus any return shipping will be given via PayPal credit. Or upon mutual agreement a partial credit via PayPal may be offered in lieu of item return.

Please keep in mind antiques can be expected to show signs of wear or various imperfections by comparison to today's manufacturing standards as many of the items I list are hand made versus machine made. Condition, particularly on antique items, is somewhat subjective and can differ between people and that's why I make every effort to photograph & describe in detail each item I sell including any possible damage or repairs. I don't profess to be an expert in all categories of antiques so if my ad has not mentioned something that it is important to you please ask questions before placing a bid. I may revise my ad to address your concern or at minimum I normally post all questions recieved within the ad to aid other buyers.

With the new eBay Seller rating system, it is especially important as a seller that I recieve 5 stars in all categories. While 4 stars may seem like a good rating, in the area of shipping time & shipping cost in particular I am penalized as a seller. I provide same day or next day shipping with a commitment never to exceed 2 days which I have consistently met. More importantly, Ebay estimates are not always accurate and may vary from actual based on the finished packaged weight,type service/carrier and/or destination. Rarely do I charge a handling charge for packing and shipping materials. I deliver my shipments directly to the Post Office or UPS to expedite shipping time. This service represents added expense for me above and beyond normal shipping charges. So please consider this when providing feedback of anything less than a 5 star rating in the shipping category.
