I have been making pens on and off for about 6 years, not until just recently have i decided to try and sell then. If there is something specific you want message or e-mail (MathesonPenStore@aol.com) me about your specific need, I may have done something previously that is not on Ebay. Also if you would like a custom pen made I can use scrap of a desk you built and make you a unique pen that will match it perfectly, or for the avid hunter I can turn a section of antler into a unique pen with a story behind it that you can tell to others. I am also very open to custom designs if there is something you would like done don't hesitate to e-mail or message me!

Products
I sell unique pens that both make great gifts and also great writing instruments. These pens are made of a variety of materials from traditional wood pens to more contemporary acrylic pens and also some unique antler pens. These Pens all start as a wood block measuring about 3/4 x 3/4 x 6 these blocks are then carefully cut and drilled in order to turn them into a pen section. Once cut and drilled the pens are turned by hand, by only myself, to a rough shape. They are then sanded to a more refined shape, that will be almost the completed pen half. They are then finish sanded from 500 grit all the way to 12,000 grit, this last sanding step gives the wood a shiny finish even with no varnish. After they are sanded, to add more shine and to protect the wood, they are varnished with a clear wood stain and then given two coats of a very high gloss wax. This allows then pen to shine brilliantly and remain smooth for years of writing pleasure.
