I love auctions! Online, in person, or just being there is so exciting!

I am awe struck with history and how it's reflected in jewelry, costume, fine, or otherwise. So naturally jewelry is what I sell.

I love costume jewelry. I personally collect road runners and crown brooches. Additionally, I collect miniature pewter people! Okay, I collect just about anything. There, I've admitted my true passion is collecting!

As I said above, I collect miniature pewter people. Additionally, I love decorated real eggs that glitter and sparkle.

I love to read murder mystery novels. Not the gruesome kind of story, but the The cat who... type of murder novel.

My favorite authors are Tony Hillerman, Lillian Jackson Braun, Janet Evanovich, Mary Higgins Clark, Alex Kava, Lisa Gardner, and Mary Jane Clark.

I have three favorite movies, The Usual Suspects with Kevin Spacey, A Knight's Tale with Heath Ledger, and Fried Green Tomatoes with Jessica Tandy.

My favorite type of music is instrumental, new age and classical.

My grandchildren. I have six beautiful grandchildren and enjoy every moment I am able to steal away from their parents. Grandchildren, I have discovered, are why we have children.

I taught at a state university for 18 years then decided to try my hand at retail sales. I found a new career in sales and had a blast while doing my job. I loved my job in sales. USPS 1st Class Parcel Mail. Your package usually arrives in 2-3 days and it's the least expensive method. We now use delivery confirmation and Prepaid mailing labels to track all packages shipped by Matildas Collectibles. Additionally, we usually only ship on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, so the quicker you pay for your winning bid, the sooner you'll receive your items. We offer a shipping discount if you buy more than one item within a 2 week period. Just let us know that you are buying in separate auction ending dates and we will hold the initial items for you to ship all at the same time, along with the shipping discount given to you based on what, how many, etc. items you win.

I'll accept returns as long as they are not broken due to shipping. Shipping insurance is only $2.50 per $100 value. A return request must be made within 7 days of receipt of item.

We check eBay email regularly and this is the best way to reach us. If you feel a desperate need to make a long distance call you may always call 480-649-2909. Fair warning with the phone call option, you will always get a message machine--sorry but solictors make us bonkers. Seriously, email is the best and quickest method to reach us.

Additionally, if a return is necessary and it is not the customer's request, for example, missing rhinestones not disclosed because our poor old eyes missed 'em, the item does not match the pics, or you open the package and you thunk yourself on the head and say to yourself, This is the ugliest thing I've ever seen.
