Base wobbles slightly, otherwise works great.
Workstation monitor paired with nVIDIA Geforce 960 connected via displayport. Monitor wakes up when the computer does via displayport. Base wobbles slightly, Works great, no bad pixels, no cosmetic damage. Display is too bright. Had to turn the brightness down to about 30 before it was comfortable at desktop distance. Weird little joystick on the back to control the OSD and turn it on and off. I just have a single input, so I've left it alone. Feels like it could wear out easily if heavily used to switch inputs or turn on/off picture in picture mode from hdmi2. Since these samsung 14V DC monitors are really nice for DC setups and RVs, I've had a Samsung to Anderson cable for a while, so I connected it to my bench supply. It draws a constant 20 watts all the way down to about 9.5 volts. Started at 14.0V and 1.46A, 13V and 1.56A, 12V and 1.63A, 11V and 1.75A, 10V and 1.91A, 9.5V and 2.01A and the backlight went off around 9.4 volts. So careful running these off lead acids without something to disconnect them at 10V. This model includes a AC to DC brick, model A4514_FPN, with the "VI" efficiency glyph and "45W" in the corner, rated 3.22A. It has a 2 prong non grounded AC appliance cable. It gets rather warm in use, but not hot. The older samsung 14V displays included an AC to DC brick, model SAD04914F-UV, with the normal PC 3 prong grounded style connectors, with a "Efficiency V" on the sticker, rated 3.5A. It does not even warm to the touch when used with this monitor.
