Business InformationHistory/background
Kennebec Publishers is an outgrowth of a publishing business begun in 1978. We began reprinting out-of-copyright Maine and New England local histories and genealogies and selling at genealogy meetings all over New England as well as by mail order. Now we have updated to the computer age, and we sell PDF and JPG files on CD-ROM. Our PDF File product line includes genealogies and local histories from nearly every state east of the Mississippi, as well as the Canadian provinces of QC, NB, NS and PEI. With the Internet, we can bring Kennebec Publishers from Maine to central Kentucky and barely skip a beat!
Payment policy
Paypal is our only method of payment.

My Old Kentucky Home
Bought a 3br, 2 bath home, on 1.25 or more acres of Bluegrass Country land, room for a nice garden, a side porch, a back deck and a 2-car carport. Now I need to add a hot tub and above ground swimming pool, a screened and covered porch. We will ALWAYS love Maine (the Western Mountains, and the Coast, as well as the Kennebec River Valley), and would plan to return during the gorgeous summers, and yet will then miss Kentucky. Yet, home is where the heart is, apparently, and that can be anywhere.
