Business InformationHistory/background
Over 100 years ago, our family, the Shendler Family of Richmond, Indiana, began an ongoing tradition of circulating a cloth letter to provide a written commentary of special occasions. These cloths would typically be signed with names, dates and the thoughts and feelings of the times. Often, the circulating letter (as our ancestors described it) would travel from family household to household for many years to celebrate various goings on. We're certainly glad to have that moment in time still available to us today.
Keenly aware of how much happiness and satisfaction our memory cloths have given us over the years, we decided to share our experience by making available a custom embroidered version suitable for display in your home. Memories Are Timeless! Keep your Memories alive by ordering one of our custom-crafted keepsakes today.

Suggestions for Signing
First, remove the Plexiglas or glass from the frame so that guests can sign the keepsake.
Second, insert picture in the photo area.
Third, ensure mat remains in the frame. Therefore, signatures remain inside display area when mat is framed.
Appoint someone to ensure all guests sign the keepsake. You may wish to place the Framed Signature Memory Keepsake on a table near the doorway where your guests will be entering and/or exiting.
Remember, guests may include a verse or a few words recalling a fond memory in addition to providing their signature.
Some people may have only the individuals present at their rehearsal dinner sign the embroidered keepsake, and then display it at their reception. The people present at rehearsal dinner write more than their signature.
Pens can be purchased at your local craft store, and you may wish to purchase more than one.
Or if you don’t wish to have your guests sign embroidered fabric, have them sign mat board placed behind keepsake.
