Legend Lives On
As an ardent Buddy Holly/Crickets fan, this CD highlights the music of the past with new recordings that show that the older music still has relevance and enduring interest today. The liner notes provide in-depth "history" of the Buddy Holly/Crickets influence across POP music throughout the past 5 decades. As Paul McCartney put it so accurately, Without the Crickets (and Buddy Holly), there never would have been the Beatles." -- And without that experience and influence, where would the various genre of music be today? -- Pop, R&R, Rock-A-Billy, Tex-Mex, country, etc.

Bubbling Under Rare Recordings
CD provided some very hard to find Golden Age of Rock & Roll recordings. Some I had been looking for the past 40+ years, especially those "regional hits" from the 1962-1963 eras.
