It all started a couple of years ago when my father commented on a sweater I just finished knitting when I showed it to him. When he asked me How much does yarn cost to make that? (of course it was 100% Alpaca) When I told him the cost of just the yarn he said Geez-o-man! Can't you take apart a sweater and re-knit it!!?? I told him he was silly and didn't get it. Well, dad passed away unexpectedly over a year ago, and when I went to my favorite yarn shop to buy some yummy yarn to make something extra special to pick me up, I noticed how much money 1 ounce of cashmere yarn cost! I couldn't believe it! That's when I heard dad say Can't you take apart a sweater and re-knit it?? So I decided maybe I could, and I did!! I now offer this newer hobbie of mine to everyone that loves fibers as much as I do. Thanks Dad!!
