I sell RARE fossil catfishes, other Lake Gosiute FOSSIL FISH, fossil wood, banded iron formation specimens, Wyoming jade, some meteorite specimens, lapidary materials. STEFONITE!

I collect grand country dance partners! Well, what did you expect? I now feel it is wrong for me to compete for the best specimens with my customers so I find joy in locating and passing on the treasures of Earth for others to enjoy. I collect web sites. OUR NEW BUSINESS NAME IS FREEMANS FOSSIL SALES AND IS VERY GOOGLE SEARCHABLE. I started rock collecting in 1991. Business started in 1996 in some form as I became president of the local rock club and subsequent 4 years as a club officer. I have a few years of background at hunting diamonds, gold, jade, petrified wood, fossil fish,and meteorites. I have found some of each! After a half dozen Big Sandy Rock Swaps, the business grew. I hope to open a second quarry for mass mortality knightia fish plates, and hopefully in the future,I aim to open a mammal quarry, find a meteorite strewnfield, and sell off a few TONS of Apple Green Wyoming jade for a couple friends in Lander. I am a strong supporter of the Rock Springs Chamber of commerce and was volunteer of the year in 2003-4

After going the rounds with yard sale nitpicking buyers, I have been forced to only take PAYPAL ONLY. My time has value as do my products. Your time is my time and I hate to waste your time too. Checks and money orders from unknown sources take forever to clear my bank, fraud is a strong concern from my bank and myself, thus, Paypal only. I have traded negative feedback over this issue in the past and recently as well. I will continue to trade negative feedback for those who do not pay and I file non paying bidder disputes on, or for those who attempt to not pay by my approved methods clearly stated in EVERY auction details meaning PAYPAL ONLY. I will hold a combine shipping box open if you ask politely, I many times hold boxes for my best repeat customers automatically. 2,100 auctions, 606 feedback, that is a lot of repeat business. I love my repeat buyers.

I ship to US destinations in priority flat rate box when ever possible, any item/s over 3 pounds, it's a bargain and a box will hold about 15+ pounds for the same flat rate. Internationally I ship priority flat rate box if possible $37 USD. if over 3 pounds. I do not ship via slow boat ground world wide as there are a number of issues including damage, loss, time to complete the transaction before the feedback option expires at 90 days...just a mess. Sorry. I require insurance and delivery confirmation on all shipments unless it is either automatically covered (most over seas shipments are covered), or as in air letter post-not offered. I have learned that con artists do not care for insurance or delivery confirmation. I have filed three loss claims in 1,600 auctions. It takes 30 days before any action by the post office. I do not use FedEx or UPS if at all possible as local offices are a waste of time and time is money, your money. USPS is less expencive these days anyway.

I don't have a static return policy due to a couple of letchers from New York that ruined that. If you are not content with your purchase, contact me right away.

After 33 months of amazing fish digging operations, and proving great rare fish, we now have a true quarry operation after the large track hoe a cat 330C came in this past November. A large thank you to all that helped us establish the new discoveries in ancient Lake Gosiute and the new quarry. We are digging the bottom of the Laney member. The quarry is now open. Minimum digging is 4 persons or $200 minimum digging fee. $65 for four hours digging, each person can get upto $300 in rare Lake Gosiute fishes.
