All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
My husband and I live on a small ranch in Oregon with 60 angora goats. We love our lifestyle and especially our close relationship to God and nature. We have raised Australian Shepherds also. We take pride in our land and stream restoration work.

My Life as a Fiber Artist
A fiber artist, that describes me best. I live in a secluded setting, with mountains hugging me all around, their peaks in winter tipped white like vanilla ice cream cones. My best friends (because I see them daily) are the angora goats who rise up early in the morning and summon us because they want breakfast. The livestock guardian dogs get fed first, or they would quit their jobs in a minute. So, off I go on my morning route to feed the whole crew. I talk about being a fiber artist here. My favorite thing is painting. Not with paints, but with mohair yarns. Each skein is hand spun on my wheel. My looms are my easels, the warp is my canvas and then I take my shuttle and carefully weave the web, the painting. It's the way I see it from my perspective.
Business InformationHistory/background
We have been shepherds and mohair fiber enthusiasts for 27 years. Our mohair fiber business interests began in the early 1980's and continues to this day. Colorado was our first homesteading effort. Soon we moved to Montana where we lived off the grid for 12 years. It was then that we focused particularly on mohair as a fiber and raised our first herd of angora goats. Now we are nestled in the high country of SW Oregon, USA.

Doll Hair and Especially Natural Blondes
Having had years of experience handling mohair for multiple purposes, we are happy to offer our skills in mohair doll hair preparation to the ebay community and world at large. This doll hair will be hand selected locks, washed and COMBED, in ounce batches. We will dye mohair to your specifications. Dark brown, medium brown and blondes will be predominantly featured. We specialize in natural hued mohair, dark blondes, ash blondes, what I like to call Swedish baby blondes, strawberry blondes, all straight from the goat. No dyes, no chemicals. If you have a preference for little or no perfume in your product, please let us know!
Mohair
We have been shepherds of our herd of angora goats for many years. Our interest in the fiber we shear from them (mohair!) is the result of being natural fiber enthusiasts and our organic rural lifestyle. We shear our animals and then prepare all of our doll hair and mohair products ourselves. We are convinced that it is one of the most fabulous fibers nature produces. It is a hair like human hair, not a wool fiber. Because it resembles human hair, it has soared in popularity for hand rooting in the reborn movement. It is apparent that those who create with love such incredible works of art (and works of art they are!) want the best doll hair they can find. They don't want to mess with dyes and combing. They want a ready-to-root product that is gloriously beautiful, in hues and colors extracted from dyes that won't run and ruin their vinyl doll heads or sculpted works. We are committed to producing premium mohair doll hair locks.
