Lightweight and easy to spot.
I haven't used it yet, but It looks to be sturdy, and the jacket is lovely.

THE MESSAGE
I have a 2011 Message. I wanted a better cover so I chose the leather thinking it would last longer. However, it is so stiff that you cannot open it and lay it down. It just stands up. I want to read and study it as I did with my burgundy colored faux leather. It lays down wonderfully, but the edges of it frayed, and I had to put tape all around them. I wanted a useable bible, not one to look at. I have another King James Bible with real leather, and onion skin paper. As soon as I got it, it would lay open, and I could write in the wide margins without a problem. There is no way I can make this lay flat so I can use it for what I bought it for. TO STUDY!! A GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT!!
