Andrea - Sunrays
Any fan of the beach type music from the early to mid sixties will like this. Being managed by the same man as the Beach Boys, this group had a very similar sound. "Andrea" and "I live for the Sun" are by far the best known and justly so. Unfortunately, the group faded fairly fast.
Having bought the single of Andrea on release, I've been looking for a better copy for some time. This fits the bill perfectly.

Quatermass and the Pit (aka Five Million Miles To Earth
This entry into the science fiction realm is a classic of it's time. Leaving disbelief at the door, you will become engrossed in the plotline and ferret out what the characters come to know. Excellent production, although a bit primitive by today's standards. The acting and direction are right on, without being overdone. Watching this movie, you lose yourself into the story and with it's rather enigmatic ending, you still feel well enterteined. In the end,isn't that what a good movie is supposed to do? A+

1 of 1 found this helpful After seeing an ad for this picture I had to see it as I am a fan of this genre. It's pretty much as you would expect, bloody with nice effects. I found it a little disorganized though and when the attacks come, the camera work makes it somewhat difficult to follow. Maybe that's intentional as you are supposed to be in a hectic situation. Great scene with the fireman walking. Don't want to ruin it for you. Spoiler alert! Ending is reminiscent of Night of the Living Dead. All told a good watch.
