I'm 48 years old, divorced, have 3 dogs and my favorite pass time is painting. I love to paint pictures of barns, cabins, trees, farmhouses, fields of flowers, old sheds & my favorite painting are abstract. They are most fun to create. I love E-Bay.

I sell Art, abstract and various subjects, ACEO cards, New & used Scrubs, scrub tops, scrub pants, scrub jackets & some scrub sets. DVD's & VHS, purses, tote bags, crocheted items, that I made myself such as caps, scarfs, shawls, afghans. I also sell Paintings, that I painted myself, such as barns, cabin in the woods, Trees, landscapes, moonlight on water, and my favorite and the most fun to create are my abstract paintings. No two are the same. I never know how they will turn out, each abstract painting is a mystery to me and that is the fun of it. I also love to recycle old scratched cd's. They are lightweight and with the hole already in the center they can be easily hung anywhere. On the cd's I paint barns, trees, abstract, & flowers, etc, & are great for decorating a child's room. I sell sweaters and shirts, some jewelry, & various what not's.

Art supplies, paints, brushes, beads, crochet yarn, quilt squares, angels, ACEO card sleeves, etc. I haven't bought much lately because I can't afford to. I am on disability because of Chronic Illness & I don't know from day to day what I have to face. Muscle spasms, difficulty thinking clearing, completing a sentence that makes sense, if I will have a migraine that last for days even with medication, widespread body pain, chills, fever & so many other things, but enough about that. I Thank God for the good days and I try to remember the bad days will pass and I will have another good day. I sell on e-bay to make a little extra money, because with a small disability check and a large Cobra payment for insurance doesn't leave much left over. But hey, things could always be worse. I Thank God I have a roof over my head and 3 loving dogs that give me a reason to carry on and family that loves me.

I began painting after my husband left me. It was a way to fill the empty hours and the feeling of abandonment. As a child being raised up in the country, I have always been fasinated with barns. Barns of various shapes, sizes, colors, etc. When I started painting, more than anything else, I would paint barns. With each stroke of the paintbrush I was brought back in time to the innocence of a child and the good memories of our old barn and the grandfather's old barn. It's funny, when you are a child it seems like a day would last forever and the older I get the faster and faster a day goes by. Another thing I enjoyed painting was different cabins in the woods, which also brought me a feeling of peace and serinity. With each stroke of the brush, I would imagine myself being in that cute little cabin deep in the woods and away for anyone or anything. A place of comfort and quietness that can be found no where else.

I have been an ebay member for a long time, but hadn't sold anything in several years until after my husband left and I figure by selling some of my things it would at least give me a little extra money. Not much, but every little dollar helps.

I am a pack rat and hate to throw anything away. Because of that fact, I came up with a way to use old stratched cd's and give them a second chance, a second time around by painting various subjects on them. Some are abstract, field of flowers and trees with a barn in the distance, any little flowers and some with one big flower in the center. This type of art is so easy to hang because of the hole in the center. They can be hung just about anywhere you could imagine. You could also take several of them and make a mobile out of them. Another idea is to add a strip of magnetic tape to the back of the c.d. and attached it to your refrigerator door.

I keep empty boxes from cereal, cracker, poptarts, etc. any boxed and cut them into different sizes and use the pieces to make a 3-D painting or they are great to cut into 5 x 7 pieces to paint on and last but not least they make very strong cards for ACEO cards.
