In my world Family is my number one priority.Our family loves the outdoors and spending lots of time together.I love to laugh and I have a fairly calm nature.I have always been a Romantic,a little bit of a Enviromentalist and kind of a clean freak.

I usually walk through a flea market, garage sale, thrift store and so on and wait for an item to speak to me. I love picking items that nobody else wants and turning them into something special and unexpected. I have found some wonderful items just sitting on someones curb with a free sign on it.I believe in keeping my options open! I grew up on a farm so I was taught early on to reuse items. I have been reusing, recycling and repurposing items long before it was considered POPULAR to do so. It's so much fun giving old, broken or dirty items new life and beauty.

Vintage, Antique, Romantic and Glittery items. My home is decorated in a beachy, romantic cottage decor. I want my home to say to visitors Come in take off your shoes put your feet up and get comfortable! I Love 50's Red Kitchen items, vintage crystal candleabras, lamps and chandeliers, vintage and antique bluebirds, antique furniture and vintage linens and doilies. But my biggest passions are Pink Depression glass and Old Coins.

Spending lots of time with my Beautiful Family especially my Adorable Grandchildren and my Sweet Husband. Refinishing and repurposing old broken, dirty and vintage items. Reading, Embroidering, Sewing, Gardening and searching for items for my home with lots of character. My husband and I also love Traveling, Four Wheeling in our Jeep and searching for old Ghost Towns in the Mountains.

Where the heart is, The honk and holler opening soon and Ride the wind. I love the new Sookie Stackhouse vampire series by Charlaine Harris too. Romantic and Cottage decorating Books and Magazines are also a great way to relax and I get some great ideas for decorating too.
