Terrible reproduction of low quality and too expensive
I rushed to buy this lamp and that was a terrible idea.
Here are all its faults:
-Wobbly stem that cannot be tightened
-Paint is shiny unlike the original which is matte finished
-Base is completely flat unlike the original which is sloped
-Switch is on the cord rather than a push switch on the base
Pros:
-it lit up
Seriously, do not purchase this lamp. Go to France & Son and buy their AJ Lamp instead. It's less expensive, and literally every fault of this version is correct on that lamp. I literally threw this one in the garbage and bought one from France & Son. It was too much of a hassle to return it back to China, so I ate my losses. Don't follow the same fate as me!
I've collected vintage furniture for two decades and France & Son is the closest to original/best quality without paying a premium for reissues. I hope this review was helpful - I rarely take time to write them, but in this case I thought it was important to do so.
