I am a college biology professor with a lot of artistic creativity. I am a woodworker, gardener, photographer, scrimshander, and classical musician. I just can't settle on one thing!

I sell scrimshaw and objects made from antler and wood. Scrimshaw subjects include nautical, wildlife, wildflower, and fantasy themes mostly, but I have scrimmed just about everything from mermaids to churches, tractors to insects. I am getting ready to sell some of my photography as well - look for nature themes such as wildflower and insect closeups, as well as wildlife, Michigan waterfalls, images of Great Lakes shorelines, and lighthouses.

Mostly things having to do with my scrimshaw hobby: ivory piano keys, ivory billiard balls, walrus and mammoth ivory, etc.

Since I am a violinist/lutanist, any music written between 1500 and 1950 is fine with me, although I get into Gregorian chants too

I have been scrimming and photographing for nearly 40 years. I have been displaying my scrimshaw at art fairs for about 25 years, mostly in Michigan, and had one of the first scrimshaw websites (www.scrimshaw.net), begun in 1994 and still maintained. I was a high school yearbook photographer and worked my way through college doing portrait and wedding photography. In the last 10 years, I have combined my biology and photography into a project to attempt to photograph all of the flowering plants native to Michigan. So far, I only have photos of about 850 species, but it's coming along.

PayPal strongly preferred, although I will also accept personal and bank checks (item shipped after check clears).

I use USPS standard, priority, and express mail. Through my website, I charge $5.00 for priority mail up to $100, and 5% of item price above $100. I charge actual shipping cost for eBay auctions. Multiple items can be combined for substantial shipping savings if auctions are completed within 7 days of each other.

I will happily refund the price of any item returned to me within 7 days of receipt, provided it is packed in its original internal packaging. Buyer pays postage both ways.
