Sorry you are Disappointed. If you would have reached out to, me I would have done my best to make things right. I designed these using Carrera Tracks but have had confirmation that they worked on Scalextric before listing as such. it takes some force to snap into place. As far as shipping its standard USPS shipping cost. As far as being charged twice I have no control over that. If you bought 2 sets then yes, they would be shipped together not separately.
