I buy DVD's and books. I'm a mass media Phreek. Love good storytelling and history and politics. I highly recommend The 5000 Year Leap as a firm foundation for discovering your America, and what to do to preserve her.

I am a comic book collector. They sit in a box in my closet. I bring them out and stare at the artwork, which I can do myself. I really enjoy realism mixed with the mythology. Although he's a prick, I love Alex Ross' work. Genius.

I'm an artist. I love to draw, design, paint, sculpt. I am a gardener-wannabe. Grew my own seedlings in 2009. I love reading. If I could sit on my can and read all day I would.

I enjoy all sorts. History, biography, literature, some great classics, popular fiction if it's grabbing. I enjoy good, hard, clean sci-fi. If I was stranded on a deserted island, I could read Steven Baxter's Manifold series over and over (except Manifold Origins, puke on that crap). I am also in love with an ancient book of scripture called The Book of Mormon. Excellent stuff.

Hard to name. I'm a Cohen Brother's fan. I enjoy old school funny like Caddyshack, Tommy Boy, Happy Gilmore. I love the Criterion Collection; Rushmore, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Royal Tannenbaums. I am not a fantasy nut, but I love The Lord of the Rings. I enjoy good, hard sci-fi with a great story. Dune is a favorite. I also enjoy ALL of the Star Trek movies, particularly the newest. Bad A!! I watch a lot of TV on DVD. Mostly adult cartoons outside of Anime, like Samurai Jack and The Venture Bros. Good stuff.

I like great, original sounds. Dashboard Confessional, Green Day, Strung Out (The drummer . . . ROCKS), Cute is What we Aim For, Snow Patrol, Plain White T's. You know.

Warriors with Terry Schapert, any good History documentary, River Monsters (keeps me up late on Sunday night, the bastard), Spongebob (believe that, stupid sponge makes me happy to be alive), the series mentioned above, and above all Futurama. Yes, Futurama. Stupid show, but I love it . . . long story.

He is the greatest man that ever lived! Is hard working and honest! He keeps me happy and I am 6 months pregnant at this writing. He rubs my back, and my feet, and waits on me, and puts up with me when I'm grumpy. I love him. (She thinks she's grumpy, but I know grumpy. She's not.)
