Multiple Sclerosis, Autism, Aspergers', Animals. My Family is affected by Multiple Sclerosis(Me), and Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. I have links to Informational Sites on these subjects on my About Me Page, as well as some of my Auctions. If I am able to help just 1 person get some information that they need, then I am helping. My family has 7 pets, 3 Dogs and 4 Cats, which are all rescues, animals that have been abandoned. I'm starting to think that word is out on the street that we are a soft touch with animals! LOL.

My Name is Melissa, and I started Orphan Things Ebay Store in 2005. I started selling on Ebay after having to quit working outside of the home, due to a major flair up of Multiple Sclerosis. Prior to this, I worked mostly in Customer Service. I don't have a physical Store Front, but I do have a storage area/Garage, where I store items. I go to many Auctions in my area of Richmond,Indiana. I am always bringing in new items. If you have certain items that you are looking for, please email me, and I will keep an eye out for these items.

I accept PayPal, Cashiers Checks, and Money Orders drawn on US Banks. If you are purchasing from outside of the US, you must pay by PayPal. If you will be mailing your payment, please email me within 24 hours after the end of the Auction, to let me know this.

I try to ship the cheapest way possible. Usually Parcel Post, but I try to give other options as well. I do add a small Handling Fee to the Shipping Cost. This varies, according to the item. This is to cover the cost of Bubble Wrap. You can see by my Feedback that I pack items in order to make sure they get to their new home safely. Also, I prefer Bubble Wrap to paper, or may combine the two in order to keep the shipping cost down. Since paper weighs more, I try to use Bubble Wrap as much as possible. Heavy items can be shipped in Flat Rate Boxes, if they fit in them. I try to ship items 1-3 Business Days after Payment is Received and Cleared.

If you have questions, please email me before bidding on any item. I check my email several times a day, and will answer emails to my Ebay email as soon as possible. The majority of the items that I sell are Vintage, pre owned items. I include many photo's of each item, and give a detailed description of each item, in order for you to have an accurate idea of the condition. If there is damage to an item, I will try to show this in the photo's, and will list this in the description as well. Since I do this, and do not hide damage or condition, I do not accept any returns.
