Collecting Golden Pen awards for writing. I have two for being outrageous and one for humor. I need another one for humor or I'm going to stand slightly tilted to one side. Collecting compliments. I love to collect compliments. I used to collect dents in my car, but then I stopped drinking. I also collect Gold and my birthday is coming up, so now you know what to get me.

Oh this is hard, Rita Lakin's Murder mysteries, Aaron Elkins Murder mysteries, Laurie R. King's books, Elaine Shevin's Winds of Time and White Swan Returns, Joyful Volunteering, Salamander the GREAT! is my favorite and I'm not just saying that because my daughter is the artist. Lenora Smalley's Sampler. I like a lot of books, Betty Hechtman's murder mysteries. I can see all of my friends just waiting for me to say their book. Um, I'll have to update this again.

Beatles springs to mind. The Penguin Cafe. Anything classical. Placido Domingo. Pavarotti, Bubbles (Beverly Sills), Jill Scott - Living my life like it's Golden... I am terrible at remembering names.

Closer, Medium, Dexter, Number 1 ladies detective agency... Do you see a pattern here?

So let's talk about me. I haven't written that book yet, the one you have been waiting for, but I will. Most of my writing is funny, but then maybe he meant you're funny looking when that guy said, you're funny. Anyway, sometimes I try to be serious and people laugh. It's just awful.

And now you know my motivation for making money. It doesn't just take forever to get there, it costs a lot too!
