A must-own book to remind one of the importance of determination in life
The story (for those of you who don't already know) is about 8 people (7 east Europeans and 1 American) who escaped from Stalinist labor camp in Siberian labor camp. Its a narration of an Epic journey by these escapes who walked south (without proper clothes, shoes or food) instead of east or west to avoid capture. This took them on an Epic journey through Siberia, Gobi desert, Tibet, and then finally to India so that they can get home to their Eastern European countries and the USA. It is an awe inspiring account of hardship and human endurance and spirit. I bought it to keep, so that I can listen again and again about human determination. And also for my children to hear what people can endure if they have the right spirit. The reader was able to narrate the audio book alone, with appropriate tone and reading style, which is missing in many audio books. The subject matter and quality of narration is excellent!

VERIZON AND SPRINT EQUIPMENT DO NOT WORK OUTSIDE USA
I bought an unlocked Bold 9930 on ebay in 7/2013 because my b'berry died while on business travel Domestically. In a hurry I DID NOT Read any reviews here of course. ATT had some struggle trying to register this SPRINT phone onto my Global unlimited plan, but they got it done. I traveled over the the Pacific soon after, and the phone works fine (both data and voice) when I use it in Japan. Then I got to Singapore, the data stopped working. Ditto when I went to Malaysia. I called back to ATT in the States and after I got past the idiot sales guy who swear I don't have a data plan (that's another story by itself) good tech support guys tried to make it work, but failed. I have a Malaysia b'berry plan as well, so I swap to a local Bold 9900 and my ATT phone was fully functional again. So I took my brand new Bold 9930 to the local phone provider and try to use the SPRINT 9930 as my local blackberry. Unlike US service personnel, these are very knowledgeable, face to face service tech. Here is what I find out, they even demonstrated it in front of me. - USA Verizon phones AND Sprint phones cannot be registered outside the States (at least in this region). - RIM (or Blackberry as they call themselves now) Server will reject the local provider's Server (in this case Celcom) request to add a BIS account to a Verizon or SPRINT phone, for reasons unknow to them. -They said they have done this with an UNLOCKED ATT phone without similar problem. _ They don't know who is causing this rejection, it could be Blackberry or it could be Verizon and SPRINT. - So folks, keep this in mind if you travel internationally. Don't buy Verizon or SPRINT phones, EVEN IF THEY ARE UNLOCKED.

Gun belt as well as everyday belt
It is truly durable. The stiffness is manageable, and it is comfortable to wear. So it can easily serve as everyday belt, even if you are not hanging any hardware on it!
