The Mystic Voodoo seeks to educate the general public about the impact of trauma on the psyche of marginalized and oppressed peoples and how this trauma is evidenced in artistic expression and religion. All of the Voodoo dolls I create reflect the pantheon of Goddesses and Gods that comprise the Voodoo cosmology as well as the cosmologies of my combined Native American and Hispanic heritage.
