One of the most original horror films of the decade
When I saw the trailer for this film in a theater long ago, I laughed hysterically at the title, but I thought the film looked pretty cool. Then it was shelved. Luckily I was able to watch it on FearNet. I enjoyed it so much, I persuaded everyone I knew to go on and watch it. Even my parents watched it... and loved it. It is one of the most beautiful horror films of recent memory. Some people complain about the grain, but I think it suits the gritty gory nature of this film perfectly. What also makes the film so beautiful is the creative cinematography and the film noir lighting. It really feels like a film that was not rushed - the artists took their time to make it as beautiful as possible. The acting is also quite good. Vinnie Jones of course is horrifying, but Brad Cooper is very likable and sympathetic. Many people have claimed that the film tends to drag, during the "detective" plot, but I think it is a perfect descent into the character's madness and eventual fate. Some have also called the end predictable, but I call it inevitable. We may know how this is going to end, but we as the audience don't want it to end this way, so we are along for the ride, hoping that somehow the character turns it all around. The producers could have pussied out and changed the ending very easily, but they did the right thing for the story. I won't talk much about the gore, but I will say that this has some of the coolest blood effects ever seen in a horror film, period. This film easily makes my top horror films of the new millennium.

Speedy cable modem, easy installation
We just ordered th SB-5120 from Fry's, and they sent this model instead. The SB-5101 has almost identical specifications, just the case is a little different, and I guess the 5120 includes TurboDOCS software. We previously had an old Toshiba, which has given stellar service for 5 years, but we decided it was time to replace it before it failed. The Motorola Surfboard was very easy to install, just plug in the ethernet cable to the router (or to your PC), connect the coaxial cable and plug in the power. There is no need to install software or drivers unless you want to use a USB connection. We also had to call Cox Highspeed Internet to give their tech support the new serial number and MAC address of the new cable modem (the Cox website neglects to tell you this step). That was the hardest part of the whole process - it took about 20 minutes, taking into account resetting and rebooting the system at their request. I am not sure that this modem is any faster than the old one, but we have a low signal on our line to start with. Overall it was very easy to set up and has been fast and reliable. It plays nicely with our router, and has caused no problems in constant daily use on a home network with 4 computers

Brilliantly dumb
This movie is a brilliant blend of greed, ridiculousness, hilariousness, and dysfunction within a group of burned-out middle aged people who get caught up in a CIA fiasco. I found it to be entertaining and funny. It certainly wasn't boring. This is one of those movies where you don't know what's going to happen next. It'll have you sitting on the edge of your seat and laughing at the same time. The video is excellent and the sound is absolutely stunning. I seldom watch extra features. But I gave in this time to listen to the Cohen brothers talk about their film. Because of some of the negative reviews that I read here, I rented first. How wrong they were!
