It sells new, used, vintage, & rare Books, Periodicals, Newspaper, and Ephemera. We have been selling Books; Periodicals; Art; Pipes & Tobacco; Stationary Goods; Gifts & Ephemera since 1861. At one point we mantained over a dozen locations in the Missouri-Kansas area. Today, thanks to the internet, all operations are centered in Kirksville, Missouri. Its main occupation in the modern era is to sort, authenticate and collect material for FBN Press and its Historic Manuscripts Collection and to dispose of those items not deemed appropriate for their missions.
