eBay My World: nolichucky_mercantile( 15)

The Nolichucky River of east Tennessee led to the inspiration of our business name. We're a small husband and wife team (Ty and Jennifer) with hopes of making it in the ebay world. We appreciate southern hospitality and family-run businesses.

Nolichucky Mercantile is just beginning to grow online. In the future we hope to have various collections from the Appalachian mountains of east Tennessee and western North Carolina, primarily vintage jewelry and antiques, so check back often! We make weekly trips to local antique shops and flea markets and always hand-select our items. We won't sell just anything, our items have to be special. As a side hobby Jennifer recently started creating ACEO's (trading card-sized art) at the influence of a close friend. While she's still learning the ropes of ACEO-creation and trying to tap into her former art education she's having a blast, which is what really matters. :) And of course, like any husband and wife, we do have various things around the house we would like to get rid of. These items usually include books.

We are a mercantile, and as such we buy and sell various items of interest to the locals of the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains. We seek out quality flea markets from three southern states and local antique stores to find the best collectibles for you.

Ty collects coins (especially Roman), stamps, and gemstones. He frequently buys cut gemstones from flea markets and goes gem mining. None of these things he sells on ebay but with as many raw gems laying around Jennifer would like to see some go. :) Jennifer has some vintage jewelry but hasn't made a collection of any although she does keep items nearest and dearest to her heart and would never dream of selling any of them. She loves African art and decor but hasn't been able to collect any of that either. Maybe Ty's collections are taking up too much space... :)
