I and my wife were both raised in the South (Mississippi, Louisiana)around relatives and friends with wonderful old houses and lots of neat old things. I actually made a little money in college refinishing furniture and painting old southern houses. Tommy, the lead, at Hound Dog Trading Company is a life long stamp collector. Tammy collects Coca Cola memorabilia and her mother used to own a collectibles and gift shop in Louisiana. We did have a large space in a local antique mall until the building was sold and the new owner forced the mall out of business. It was at that point that we packed up our space and shifted to e-Bay to begin Hound Dog Trading Company. We purchase items for resale from e-Bay and Craig's List but our main source is going to all the local auctions and estate sales in the Seattle-Metro Area. many of our Christian books are currently coming from Tommy's personal library, as he is a former pastor. PayPal is our preferred method of payment. We also accept Postal Money Orders, Cashier's Checks, and Business Checks. At this time we do NOT accept personal checks.

We always do our best to ship within 24 hours of payment when payment is received by 6:00 PM. Priority, Express, and holiday always ship the next business day shipping. We also ship world wide. Much of our shipping is done in clean recycled boxes. We never use boxes that are dirty or unsanitary. Also most of our pack peanuts and bubble wrap we recycle from friends who do not want to put it in landfills. This make good sense for the environment and good business sense for NorthwestBiz and Hound Dog Trading Company. Recycling also gives us the opportunity to help save shoppers money as many sellers have to charge more per item to cover shipping supplies.

We do accept returns if the buyer contacts us within seven days of receipt of the item. We will offer money back (less the shipping cost) or replace the item if we have the same item in stock. Its the customers choice. If returning the item we ask that the buyer contact us before returning. The buyer does pay the return shipping costs.
