Also LOVE to craft the following: Miniatures of outdoor, plastic-faced (or neon), gas-station signs from 1950s-'60s. (2.)Hand-made models of luxurious, +grandmas' cars+ which haven't yet been made into kits. TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES! And---at ONE time, ten yrs. ago---American Movie Classics (now Am. Mediocrity Channel), Prefer AMC's early-morning broadcasts of pre-1965 releases, usually from 20th-Fox library. STRONGLY prefer silent cinema. And (nearly) ALWAYS...ANIMATION! Cel-animation, the dying art of stop-motion animation...and the now-ubiquitous, now-universal +CGI+ (+computer-generated images+). Must have INTELLIGENT SCRIPTS, however! Must n-e-v-e-r be conceived by producers without animation-experience...just to +keep kiddies quiet in their seats+. Must be fresh & original (i.e., Hayao Miyazaki's Studio Ghibli, released by Disney/Buena Vista Home Video in N. America). I never watch titles originally conceived as follows: +Hey! Le's jus' do whut Disney's doin!+ (early 1990s) or +Le's jus' do whut Pixar's doin!+ (today) NO adult animation (i.e., Ralph Bakshi)---and almost NO R-rated flicks, whatsoever---esp. teenage-guy comedies!

Prefer orchestral +easy-listening+ & +Tin-Pan-Alley+ standards (NOT classical-music, please)...oldies from 1960s (toddler years) & 1970s (elem. school & Ala. School of Fine Arts). LOVE Enya (Warner Music Group), Tangerine Dream, Brian Eno, Third Force, and other electronic-space composer-performers. Also enjoy +house dance-mix+. obth categories have Warner Music-Group's +Chilled Spirit+ in common. Will gladly purchase CDs, not just older vinyl LPs. BIG fan of Jewish klesmer (kleszmir?) music, 1960-1980 soul (incl. love-ballads), soul-gospel, & contemporary Christian soul such as that performed by +God's Property+ (Kirk Franklin), Destiny's Child, & Take-Six (Warner Music). Please!...NO rap, heavy-metal, country-gospel (too socio-cultural, and too dominant down here in rural Ala., anyway!) or tame, White, hotel-ballroom-orchestra +jazz+ (i.e., Russ Columbo, Rudy Vallee, Paul Whiteman, Guy Lombardo, early Lawrence Welk, &c.) from 1920-1935.

Regarding current TV animation: Am trying VERY hard to appropriate 1950s, Columbia Pictures-released, UPA +style+...that to-day's animators seem to do so WELL, at the Big Three: Cartoon Network/Kids' WB (Time/Warner), Toon Disney/ABC Family's +Jetix+, and Nicktoons (Viacom/Paramount/CBS/Simon-&-Schuster). Today's animation-scripts...not just the technical, production-values...are VASTLY superior to those of my childhood of 1970s. To say nothing of the 1980s, when DIC Animation City dominated network & syndicated +kidvid+...and when the +Christian+ F.C.C. (under Pres. Reagan's +Christian+ staff) de-regulated children's T.V. Also prefer Public TV.
