The Life I Chose
Almost 4 years ago I left my now ex-husband. I walked out of my home which I paid for with my 4 yr old and 2 yr old children, my cat & 1 suitcase. I never looked back. Gave up everything I had worked for and earned for a better life for my children, though I took them away from everything they had ever known. I now own my own home with no mortgage, live with a wonderful man who has saved us all, and given my children the life they deserve. It was a hard road but well worth it. For those who think they cannot make it on their own, just remember anything is possible if you just reach for your goals.

History/background
B.A. in Business Communication. Ran a start up out of college which was then bought out by a large corporation. Worked for a fortune 100 company as a Product Manager. Recently became a Certified Nurses Aid and provide home care to the elderly. Hoping to be attending Nursing School over the summer. Also, I teach an after-school sculpey clay art class to 1st through 3rd graders. Both of my current jobs are very rewarding - I get to help the elderly and then teach little kids! And most importantly I have been a Mom for 7 years to my 2 beautiful children - the most rewarding job of all.
