Hello and welcome to My World! I have been a sixth grade teacher for eleven years. I currently teach Honors Language Arts. Working with young, intelligent minds truly inspires and motivates me. I recently opened my own store, Soothing Scentiments.

As I have gotten older, my style has become increasingly minimal; therefore, I am not a big collector of any one type of item. If something really catches my eye, however, I usually will not hesitate to buy it.

I am an avid reader. Lately I have been reading books leveled for my students, so I can help them make informed decisions. I also love to write (poetry and memoirs mostly), but with time being a factor, it is especially difficult to work writing time into my life. My new business also keeps me quite busy, but I have found that it is a very positive outlet for me.

This list could go on and on, but some of my favorites include classics read long ago; others are more recent reads. Some of my favorites include To Kill a Mockingbird, Of Mice and Men, Whitney My Love, In the Grip of Grace, Twilight, New Moon, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Walk Two Moons, Maniac Magee, Peter and the Starcatchers, Red Kayak, and many more.

Braveheart, Forrest Gump, Cinderella Man, An Officer and a Gentleman, It's a Wonderful Life, My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music, and so many others.

I enjoy music from a variety of genres, but Country and Christian music tend to be my favorites. I love the country group Rascal Flatts and individual artists like Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, and Keith Anderson. My favorite Christian groups are Third Day and Mercy Me.

I opened my eBay store, Soothing Scentiments, because I wanted to sell quality items that I love, namely pure soy candles, premium fragrance oils, and decorative candle and fragrance accessories. I am a very driven, goal-oriented person, so I knew I would be up to the challenge of creating my business from the ground up. I have done extensive research and continue to make improvements in my store and product line. I am very excited to open my eBay store to the rest of the eBay community! I accept PayPal as the preferred method of payment, but I will also accept payment made by money order and cashiers check. Payment should be made within 10 days of the close of sale.
