Good CPU
The Intel Xeon W3xxx series is a great CPU and is the same as the old i7 chips (LGA 1366). Only real difference is that they are higher binned (read: better quality) CPU's than the i7's because they are intended to go in servers. They supposedly can overclock better but YMMV. Higher binned does not guarantee a stellar OC. This CPU can only work on a single socket, X58 motherboard because the built-in, multi socket interconnect is turned off. Also, since this CPU is a server grade item, it has the ability to accept the more expensive ECC DDR3 RAM. No desktop machine really needs this anyway plus there is a slight performance hit for the ECC version of RAM so no worries. Just get some decent sticks from G.Skill or Corsair and you'll be set. I haven't tried to OC this CPU yet since I'm still building up my machine but I'm sure it will be fine. I will be coming off of an old P4 3.2 GHz so anything will be better than that. My current build as of now: EVGA E760 Classified Cooler Master Cosmos-S Full Tower Case Xeon W3550 (Not sure on the heatsink/ cooling solution yet) G.Skill 6GB (3x2GB) Pi + Turbulence II (F3-16000CL6T-6GBPID) CAS6 DDR3 2000 (2) Western Digital Black 500GB SATA - storage OCZ Vertex Turbo 60GB SATA SSD (OCZSSD2-1VTXT60G) - OS Boot drive Corsair HX 1000W modular power supply (CMPSU-1000HX) Sony Optiarc SATA CD/ DVD burner Sentry II Fan controller IcyDock 5 in 3 Hot-swap internal SATA HDD enclosure (MB455SPF-B) (not sure on the GPU's yet. Will be Nvidia. Maybe 2 GTX 465's in SLI) Well that's it. This CPU is a good purchase if your a power user or enthusiast but IMO it's only worth it if you can afford full retail or can find it on eBay at a decent price like I did. :)

Well worth it if you need a wireless G router or a more advanced AP.
The Linksys WRT54GL version 1.1 is known as one of the best wireless G routers ever made and for good reason, it's durability and compatibility with DD-WRT. The "L" part of the model number means that it was designed to be compatible with DD-WRT or OpenWRT. The design is based on the version 4 of the original WRT54G, which was the best model for flashing to the alternate firmware. It has 4 10/100 ports; 2 dipole removable antennas (version 1.1) and a attractive, stackable cabinet design with plenty of easily viewable indicator lights unlike some newer models by Linksys. Of course the negatives are that the connection speed is slower than wireless N but if you don't need that or need to worry about that then it's a non-issue. Most of the time you won't saturate a wireless G connection anyway (streaming of uncompressed Blu-Ray or maybe DVD content over your network would do it). I bought this primarily to use as a WiFi G access point because the wireless N router I have (ASUS RT-N66U) doesn't seem to get along with wireless G clients. It is supposed to be backwards compatible with wireless G clients but some of them, when connected, like to randomly disconnect or had poor throughput. The problems went away when I bought this and the best part is the original owner already flashed it to DD-WRT when he had it so it was ready to go for me. Linksys had their firmware flashed on it from the factory. These units are still affordable if you look a little and are patient. It works well in either router mode or client mode (AP). Tons of info is available in the DD-WRT community for flashing and configuring it. Just Google "the peacock thread" for a full explanation and FAQ on using DD-WRT. Have fun!!

Halo CE
Hello, this review is about the Halo Combat evolved PC game. Halo is a real classic game series to get into. I don't game all that much but I do enjoy playing this quite a bit. It will run decently on any thing from a Pentium 4 on up. I bought this for my son and his machine is an older 3.2 GHz Pentium 4, 2GB RAM with an older Sapphire Radeon x1650 AGP at full settings (1440x900). Even though this game came out in 2003 the graphics are pretty good. It's no Crysis or anything like that but it's decent. I fully enjoy it and my son does too. If you haven't tried it out yet you should get yourself a copy now.
