My World is Very Crowded ! Obsesive Compulsive Pack Rat, I've been buying, collecting and hording anything and everything for well over 40 years. Ebay makes it easy to fill in the gaps, and when times are tough, makes it fairly easy to recoup some $

You Never Know !!! Starting to weed out some of the 40+ year collection. and sometimes pick up more items at local auctions just for selling on eBay. Win some. Lose some. It's all a gamble. But that's part of the fun. I've sold, Antique games, Toys, Tools, Pocket Knives, Bullit Molds, Post Cards, Souvenir cups and glasses, Antique Auto parts, 1951 Ford Custom Deluxe, Indian Motorcycle amp gage and sales brochure, Japanese jewelry box, Satsumi Vase, Glass photo negatives, Antique Hit & Miss Engines, Engine Cart Wheels, Battery operated tin toys, and much more.

Almost anything that will fit in the house. garage. building, yard. etc... Stover & Arcade Mfg. items are my main interests when I can afford them. basically anything old and interesting. And then there's the new stuff...... such as hot wheels by the thousands. comic books by the thousands 10-20 years ago but not recently. and action figures by the hundreds. but I generally buy them new at the stores over the last 20-35 years. I should probably start selling some of them sometime and see what happens.

Anything by Stover MFG of Freeport IL, Arcade Mfg of Freeport, Antique Engines, tractors, parts and pieces there of. Cars and parts, diecast toy cars trucks tractors engines etc., but NO nascar football baseball basketball or anything related to those 'sports' other than a few pieces that were included in 'job lots' at auctions and haven't been disposed of yet.

Rock, Country, Classic, Blue Grass, Hard Rock, it's all good if it's done right. Even bagpipes are OK if they're played right. Not much of a Polka fan though.

Munsters, Adams Family, Get Smart, the Rifleman, Guns of Will Sonet, Wild Wild West, were all good but without cable or satalite they're all distant memories. Hero's is good ! And all of the CSI variations. Kim Possible cartoon kind of reminds me of the old Get Smart program, with a twist.

I've been collecting and/or hording things for well over 40 years. Been on eBay as a buyer for around 8 years so far,since June of 2001, and as a seller off and on for about 7 1/2 years, since October of 2001, depending on work schedule. If I'm working long hours and can't get to the Post Office while the window is open for shipping things then I quit selling for a while. When the work slows down or disapears all together, then I start selling again.

In spite of the hefty comission that PayPal charges sellers, I added that a several months before being forced to, just to make it easier to accept payments from foreign countries and to speed up transactions without having to wait on checks or money orders to arrive and maybe wait for checks to clear before shipping. I can Still accept Cash or money orders from people that don't have PayPal accounts if arranging for Local Pick Up, and if need be will accept personal checks for larger items, with a waiting period for check clearance. Unfortunitely eBay's recent change to PayPal ONLY has caused a lot of people to quit selling, or double or triple their S&H fee's to cover PayPal fee's, but I haven't resorted to that. I do sometimes have to include a Small S&H fee to help cover packaging expenses on some items, but I always try to find the lowest cost shipping options and let the buyer choose among them.

I try to package items in the smallest most secure package I can and try to keep the weight to a minimum. Unfortunately living some distance from the Post Office and having to get packages weighed for calculated shipping, plus the time and materials of sometimes making custom packages, I need to add a small S&H fee to the Actual Postage. Whenever possible I try to include at least 3 shipping options for U.S. and 3 options for international shipping. I prefer not to mess around repackaging large items for combined shipping after they've already been boxed and weighed for shipping, but with postcards or smaller items it is easier to accomodate buyers.

I don't offer returns. I always try for the best possible pictures, and recently purchased a newer camera just to get even better pictures to put in listings, and describe everything in enough detail, there should be no doubt as to the condition of what I'm selling. If someone changes their mind or they damage an item, I'm not going to deal with that. Insurance is Always Optional and recomended on fragile items, but if something is fragile I spend the extra time and effort to try to make sure it gets to them intact with or without insurance. Anything I sell that I'm not sure about, I list as such, and remind bidders to reread listing and look closely at pictures before bidding. I don't try to hide anything, and I don't deal in reproductions like many of the bigtime sellers that claim to 'scour the South searching for rare estate finds' when they're really peddling junk repro's by the dozens and hiding behind private feedback so future bidders can't see they've already sold 20 of them
