My wife and I are gourd artists and wood carvers. We live in Western Pa. with our 2 dogs. I sell purple bottles as well. We normally sell at festivals, but e-bay has proven to be a wonderful outlet! New to the internet, but we're learning!

We sell irradiated purple bottles and all varieties of Gourd Art. The purple bottles are dug locally (Northwest Pa.) for the most part. We try very hard not to purple items that are extremely rare or particularly valuable historically in their natural state. We believe in a fair price for our work, and strive to be above board in all we do. Our Gourds have come on strong lately, as our techniques change and expand. We have won numerous awards for our work, most recently at The Kentucky Gourd Festival. We each won several blue ribbons for our efforts, and were/are quite proud. As info the bulk of our raw gourds are from Front Porch Crafts in Horse Cave Ky. They are great folks to deal with and are highly recommended.

We were weekend artists already, then received a gourd as a gift. They were kind of hard to find, and decided we'd give it a try. That was about 10 years ago. Now we do it almost full time, and have won numerous awards for our effort. The business has afforded us the opportunity to meet some great people, and so far this internet thing has proven to be the same. We do many shows and festivals here in the Western Pa.area,and added purple bottles to fit in with our unique style of doing things. We also do wood chip carvings, and hope to soon offer them on eBay as well. We are members in good standing of The American Gourd Society and The Kentucky Gourd Society.
