A miscellaneous comment about first vs. second edition, etc., Painted PoniesOn their last website update, the Painted Ponies organization says there is no difference in the quality of the casting of Painted Ponies from first to second to whatever edition a particular piece happens to be. I just have to add my two cents' worth about this. It may be true that there is no difference in the quality of the casting from the first to second edition, but in my opinion, there is a difference in the quality of the painting from first to second on up to higher editions. Run for the Roses!This and that.... Have you seen the new pony from Painted Ponies called Run for the Roses? It's gorgeous. It's an exclusive new pony from the Trail of Painted Ponies. Only 2,500 of this pony have been produced to date; these ponies are first production run ponies like the first 1,500 of High Desert Horse Feathers and the first 3,500 of the Phoenix Pony.
