I began selling books after becoming tired of moving boxes of them around that I had already read. I couldn't bring myself to throw them away, so I tried selling them online. I sell books part time and work full time for the Humane Society.

new books, used books, out-of-print books, rare books, collectable books, romance books, mystery & suspense books, thriller books, educational & text books, self-help books, vintage magazines, various sorts of ephemera, and misc. items.

At this point it seems I collect books, although my purpose is to sell them ... not collect them.

I enjoy all types of music by various artists and bands such as Aerosmith, The Moody Blues, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, Melissa Etheridge, Sada ... and the list goes on and on ...

My previous career was in the field of purchasing. I was a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) and and Accredited Purchasing Practitioner (A.P.P.) ... but I wanted to try running a business myself, so I bought out the inventory of a local bookstore that was closing down .... I tried making a go at it with bookselling being my only source of income, however there is no money in it. So now I only sell books on the side now and work full time for the Humane Society. No money in that either, but what the hey ...
