A very fine read
Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon is a historical fiction/science fiction/post-punk/romance/treasure hunt story that follows several different storylines surrounding a large stockpile of gold hidden by the Japanese in the waning days of WWII. The story constantly moves forward, and does not lag or lull in any particular place. I personally enjoyed the thorough research that was obviously completed for this work, as well as the length of the book, requiring more time than many of its contemporary novels to read, giving me more for my money, while keeping me interested. Highly recommended for a history buff or a sci-fi lover in your life.

Complete Led Zeppelin
This collection contains all the studio albums released by Led Zeppelin during their career (1968-1980). Buying all of these albums separately quickly becomes expensive, and can be difficult to locate all of the albums. For sheer ease of cost and packaging, this is a very easy way to own the studio catalogue of one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Upgrading my collection from vinyl to CD (and then to my computer) was a step I was hesitant to make, but this collection made the process much easier. Highly recommended for anyone, young fans or old, looking to buy more than one Led Zeppelin album.
