My grandmother started my interest in sewing when I was around 10 or 12, and since then I've made it my passion. Creation is not only a form of expression for me, but also a type of mental therapy. I enjoy taking an idea and making something real out of it. It's such a compliment when other people appreciate what I do and offer encouragement to keep at it. Being able to work at something you love is such a blessing and so freeing to the soul. God gives everyone a talent, and I want to use mine to the fullest. Erma Bombeck said it best: when I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would have not a single bit of talent left and could say, I used everything You gave me.
