NOT for many Garmin Nuvis
I bought several of these power cords for use with Garmin Nuvis. Not one will operate a 1355, 205, 255 or 265 Nuvi. Seems they do not conduct power properly...when plugged into the auto socket, the Nuvi thinks it is connected by USB to a computer. The Nuvis will not go into navigation mode. Any genuine Garmin cord works them all properly. I did notice that one of these cords does run a Tomtom.

title says 379A but it is NOT. These batteries are too large.
