I learned free-motion machine embroidery from the late Lucille Merrell Graham, a pioneer in the art of machine embroidery, and it changed my life! She happened to be my sister-in-law, but above all, she was a very dear friend, mentor and business partner. I've been involved in teaching the art of free-motion embroidery, Thread Painting and quilting for more than 25 years. My husband and I have worked together for many years.
