5D Mark II lost
1 of 2 found this helpful The camera came broken, with horrible vertical/horizontal banding.
Since was still under warranty I send it back to Japan for repairs.
The seller said he change his mind and he will keep the camera.
At the moment I am still looking for the seller with the police to try to recover something.
Better buy it from BH when they will get stock, at the moment is still"back ordered"
Update:
Ura...I did recover the camera, the Canon people in Japan fix it.
So far so good no banding anymore.
I like the Auto ISO but sometimes is jumping to high, Most of the times I try to shoot from a monopod with a Custom Bracket, so the shaking is at the minimum.
I guess the camera thinks that everything is hand held.
They say the Mark II 5D have the new Digimarc IV inside but I found it slower like the MArk III, however is not a big issue.
Noise is not bad at all up to ISO 800 but on HI is horrendous, I guess is amplifying to much the signal.
I will test the video later to see what is up to.
