My dogs and cat, dedicated volunteer to finding homes for homeless animals.

I am a dedicated volunteer for a local animal shelter in Jacksonville, FL (K & C Pet Rescue and Adoption Society). In addition, I am a public school teacher. I have five dogs and one cat of my own and I foster dogs and cats too! The store created is to help the animal shelter in raising money to pay shelter expenses (mostly medical) and allow our senior residents to live out their lives in a safe and happy environment. The profile picture is actually a photo of two of our senior residents that were the best of friends in the world. They became friends and life long companions when they came to the shelter several years ago. They both crossed to the Rainbow Bridge in 2008, within a few months of each other. I am sure they are enjoying their youthfulness again along with our great founder, Kay Timmerman.
