Hello I am Ann from Primitive Ravin. I live in a small community between Wichita & Hutchinson Kansas. Very Rural town of 1,200 people. This type of rural living gives my inspiration for all my designs, that are coming soon!

Right now some patterns, dolls and fabric. Putting some of my pattern designs out there and my own doll designs which come with a Certificate of Authenticity with every doll purchase.

I buy quite a bit of fabric, patterns and anything primitive I can use on my dolls

Mercantile Gatherings -- this is a wonderful magazine that i love to read. I read it over and over and the pages get worn and fall out but it is like no other magazine I have ever purchased. It is more like a book, but about light hearted country life and oh the advertisers, patterns, stories are the best in world! You can really relate to these ladies!!!

I started crafting/designing 20 years ago now! I have worked for Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's, and BenFranklin Crafts! I loved BenFrankling Crafts! All of these stores I was Department Manager. BenFranklin Crafts had a private owner and she let me take charge of my dept. which was crafts and I got to deal with the Vendors myself when ordering product. That gave me wonderful experience and I have always tried to stay up with the newest trends! I love fabric it is my passion! I like the feel and texture and I buy only Quilt Shop quality fabrics. They have to feel good & be made well. I think better the fabric is the better your product is to sell! Higher quality gets you a good price for your doll! The past 3 years I also worked for a Newspaper Co., and that is where I learned my Graphic Arts and using the Computer to put my hand-drawn figures or patterns to life!

Payment Methods I accept is PayPal (and that is preferred) but I do accept Money Orders. Sorry No personal Checks (got burned on a few deals!!!). It takes one apple to spoil the bunch!!! LOL

You pay right away with Paypal, and because i live in a small town I get my items shipped to you quickly! Post Office is only 2 blocks from my house!!!!

I do offer return policy on my dolls, but if you special order a doll with a specific color it is not refundable. Patterns, Books, Graphics & any copyright material is non-refundable and that is pretty standard any place. Fabric, Dolls, and most of my items I accept returns so bid with confidence, I want my customers to be happy!

I used to give my email address but learned the hard way to much junkmail!!!! I need to keep the lines open for my customers to be able to contact me with questions or just anybody that needs a quick answer to help them figure out a pattern or how to do a doll a certain way or a face pattern help.

I love to help people with their questions on where to find a product or how to stitch up a dress or doll body a certain way! I have been having lots of my customers asking for certain doll features and I am adding more to my pattern Called About Faces and Primitive Guide to Making Your Doll Prim! As I said above I live in a small country rural town. I came from Kansas City and it was a little of a shock but a good one. I live close to an Amish town called Yoder. My dolls and Creations or over at Picket Fence in Yoder, Kansas. Yoder has grown a bit and they have fine shops over there! So if you are ever in Kansas you will have to stop into Yoder and eat at Carriage Crossings you won't be disappointed! A lot of my prairie dolls I do with blank faces and plain dresses because of the Amish Heritage. We have some Amish that live in Haven, once in awhile I will she a buggy come down my street, but Amish custom is you are not allowed to take their picture. I love it here in Haven!!

Just recently I have met a woman in Germany we hit it right off and we share doll making ideas and our family life. Three years ago I met a women from Canada and we have done the same. I love meeting new artist and I always put them in my favorites so please look at that section I have quite a few in my list! Also I have joined FolkArt Square and have met a wonderful person there who is currently helping me get a website going. I am working on that real feverishly to get something up for the Holiday Season.
