I was born and raised in Key West, Florida; moved to the beautiful mountains of Colorado after the birth of my first child. I am a retired Satellite Engineer from Lockheed-Martin. I was also outsourced as a contractor to work on some pretty intense projects with some really wonderful people at IBM, Ball Aerospace and NASA. I currently get to stay home (my husband works very hard to allow me this luxery)and work on all my projects in quilting, photography, playing the guitar and making dresses and other clothing for my sweet little angel dog. I have a little Yorkie named Paris. WOW...how much I love this little bundle of cute. She has filled the hole in my heart that developed after my oldest son left home and joined the Navy, as well as helping me heal after an earlier family tragedy. Paris is extremly spoiled and is my big ball of sunshine! I'm sure anyone who has a Yorkie can attest to how much joy they can bring into our lives. She is almost like the little girl I never had.

I know this is cliche, however, life is too short and fragile to take even one second for granted. Love yourself, your family and friends as if it was the last day of your life. We really are here one minute and gone the next...so don't ever go to bed at night with a regret for not telling someone you love them and cherish them. Give your loved ones plenty of love, kisses, hugs and most of all...time.
