My position on giving feedback
I do not give feedback until the seller does since you've been paid and you've shipped the product; you're done. Beware, I give honest feedback--not puffed up nonsense.
No Ebay seller is entitled to positive feedback--it is earned by the seller for being business-like in a positive way towards this customer. I expect (1) good service, (2) accurate item descriptions, (3) no hassle, on-line payment methods (PayPal, Amex or Visa), (4) proper packaging, (5) reasonable shipping fees, (6) quick shipping after I pay for the item and (7) no talking back about my feedback rating.
Business InformationHistory/background
Project manager and senior systems engineer in e-business.
If you don't like my feedback
If you don't like my feedback, THINK TWICE before you bother me about it.
ITEMS NOT AS YOUR AD DESCRIBES = NEGATIVE FEEDBACK
SELLER FAILS TO RESPOND TO E-MAIL = NEGATIVE FEEDBACK
SHIP ME DIRTY, WORTHLESS ITEMS NOT MEETING YOUR AD = NEGATIVE FEEDBACK
WHINING ABOUT MY FEEDBACK = HARASSMENT WHICH VIOLATES YOUR TERMS OF SERVICE WITH E-BAY.
If you bother me about my feedback, I will ask E-bay to take the appropriate action under your terms of service (do the math to figure out what that means.)
And please don't lecture me on Ebay's methods--I was in e-business before Ebay was and understand clearly what an on-line business should do and not do.
