My other i.d. is itakechecksnmoneyorders. I stumbled into ebay with a question several years ago, and never left. Like many other buyers and sellers here, I've established relationships and made real friends. Lucky me!

I’ve overboard on vintage Christmas, & the tackier, the better. I buy too many vintage textiles; tablecloths, curtains, quilts, embroidered pillowcases, chenille spreads, doilies, tea towels, crochet potholders, fabric, even feather pillows with cute ticking patterns. I’m crazy about vintage purses & old hats, especially with flowers. Love vintage pottery pieces, but I’ve tried to be more selective lately! I’m even worse with vintage kitchen bowls . . . ceramic, Pyrex, pottery. The first bowl I bought, a huge Watt striped one, is perhaps my favorite ‘cause I have a story to go with it. I picked I up at an estate sale. As I walked through the house, several people asked if I was aware there was a (hairline) crack in it. Yes I did, and it became a little annoying. As I walked out the door, quite pleased with my treasure, an incoming shopper admired the bowl. I blurted, ‘It’s cracked’. LOL

I love working in the garden, reading in voracious spurts, visiting small towns and going on shopping trips for vintage finds. If my kids are playing a sport, I'm there cheering (for both teams).

I like smart and funny people -- and I like them to think I'm smart and funny, too! I don't litter, I'm extra polite to old people, I recycled before it was cool, and I avoid pesticides in my garden. I love my friends and my family, and I tell them so. I'm a huge procrastinator (tho I ship ebay sold items same day or next!), very impatient, too outspoken sometimes, and I'm a terrible housekeeper, but I blame it on the kids!
