I have been in the antique business for 20+ years . During that time I've seen a lot of changes and learned a lot . I am very eclectic and always discovering new areas of antiques that interest me . In short I look for quality , rarity & great design

Vintage & antique items such as : jewelery, silver, Japanese cloisonne, fountain pens, watches, art, linens, textiles, clothing, pocket knives, cuff links, pottery & glassware, furniture ( not nessasarally in that order ) I generally deal in the Victorian, Edwardian, art nouveau, arts & crafts movement, art deco, art modern, machine age, retro to mid century modern, styles and eras .

I started in Antiques over 20 years ago . At that time I owned a store specializing in local crafts such as pottery , jewelry etc . One day I saw an ad in the paper for an antique chair . I went to see the owner , a very old lady in her big 1800s house , she mentioned she had other things in her attic & asked if I would be interested ? Her attic was full of old china , glassware , smalls etc , I pretty much bought everything . I started to mix antiques into my store and do a flea market on the weekends . Little by little like a chronic malady the antiques took over the crafts , the store and my life . Since then I have had several stores & done shows in the New York , New Jersey area . Somehow , the rent always seemed to double when the new lease came up & I would have to move on .I've become a bit tired of this routine so I have moved on to ebay and a virtual store , hoping they won't double my rent ( at least if they do I won't have to move ) .

I accept money orders , cashiers checks , Paypal, cash ( when making a local pickup ) & poodles or any well behaved dog ( just kidding on the last one though I wish I could ) . If you send a personal check please allow extra time for clearance . On big ticket items I would rather not take paypal as it costs a fortune .

I usually ship with in 7 business days . I try to ship only once a week so that I can get more work done such as finding good stuff and listing it . I also like to try to have a life other then going back and forth and standing in line at the post office . Perhaps some day I will find a printer that actually works consistently and then I will ship more often . In the mean time if you want it fast generally the best way is to pay fast ( For instance : in general say I have 6 items selling in one night then 5 winners pay me right away and the 6th pays 1-2-3 days later . The 5 will most likely ship next day and the 6th will have to wait for the next cycle .Kinda like missing the bus .

I never would knowingly misrepresent anything and am known for my honesty ( check my feedback ) . However I don't know everything and occasionally miss something . The items I sell are old and generally used so please have reasonable expectations . I always try to work with you for your reasoned satisfaction . I take returns if something is grossly misrepresented within 7 days of receiving it . I will give a refund .
